Informal settlements as the epicenter of the challenges for inclusive and sustainable cities

Presentation of the main challenges and keys for implementing the New Urban Agenda in informal settlements, in Latin America, through the perspective of citizen participation. By socializing data about informal settlements in the region gathered by participative methodologies using head edge technologies, the event will contribute to close the gap between the compromises of the New Urban Agenda and the knowledge of the reality in the informal settlements.

The event will provide an operative perspective for the adaptation of the goals of the New Urban Agenda based in the work of TECHO with thousands of communities in more than 60 latin american cities.
