The training event will start with a setting the scene overview of where UN Environment’s work linking science and policy, and the work of the IRP will be presented and connected to the goals of the New Urban Agenda. This will be followed by three blocs: a presentation of the findings of “The Weight of Cities” report, and then on the “ASEAN Region” report. The final bloc will discuss how the global findings have been tailored to the ASEAN region and how the findings could be adapted to a national and city level context. Each of the blocs of the training will be followed by a facilitated discussion with selected cities and representatives of International Organizations and by a Q/A/discussion from the audience.
